A Fantastic Afternoon at the Annual Street Party

Last Friday, Sherrington Road came to life with colour, music and conversation as the Kavli Institute for Nanoscience Discovery, the Department of Biochemistry and DPAG hosted our fourth annual Street Party.

This much-anticipated tradition brings together staff, students and friends from across the three departments for an afternoon of food, fun and community spirit.

With bright bunting overhead and music adding to the atmosphere, guests enjoyed a great selection of street food, refreshing ice creams and drinks. The road was full of friendly faces catching up with colleagues and meeting people from neighbouring departments.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise the event and made the day run so smoothly. Moments like this highlight the fantastic sense of community we’re lucky to have here at Kavli Oxford and across our partner departments.

Events like this remind us how important it is to come together—and we look forward to the next opportunity to do just that.
